MotionX Dice for Free

Don’t confuse this with the critically acclaimed MotionX Poker, which we still believe to be one of the best games you can buy in the App Store. MotionX Dice is a free version showing off fullpower’s technology. Not only is this a great way to drum up interest for MotionX Poker, but it’s a great set of virtual dice to have available for any other games you may play, such as:

  • Yahtzee
  • Dice Poker
  • Craps
  • Monopoly

There are 9 dice styles to choose from, and you can select from 1 to 5 dice. The settings allow you to choose from red, blue, or green tables and turn on and off sound and vibrate.

As with MotionX Poker, when rolling the dice, depending on the dice and table, the sound effects sound realistic for the kind of dice being used (metal, plastic, wood, etc.) It also uses the excellent physics engine, and allows you to hold dice after each roll. You can get MotionX Dice in the App Store.

Awesome work on these graphics and motion. However, my use for d6′s is pretty limited. If they had a polyhedral set for roleplaying I’d pay MONEY for this, and it would lay waste to all the other dice rollers on the app store. Right now, this looks great, but is basically just a novelty to show off what the iPhone/iPod touch can do.

I agree with Randy. Please use polyedral dice, I’ve seen in MotionX web site that they have already a physics engine that can support other dice. I’ll gladly shell out up to $5 bucks for it.

Absolutely Sick. I have ten games on my iPhone and I have no idea what the heck the other nine are even doing there taking up space on my phone. I never ever use any other game on my phone. Sic, Sic, Sic!!!

Cool graphics and realistic physics. It’s clear that there is REAL SERIOUS software engineering behind this iPhone application.
