Flying Rider, the iPhone clone of Line Rider, has been approved by Apple to be made available in the App Store. However, the developers of Line Rider, inXile Entertainment, told the developer of Flying Rider that they do not have permission to sell the game.
So now the strategy is to make Flying Rider available for free, while hoping to receive donations and see if he can work something out with the developers of Line Rider. If not enough donations are received, development of Flying Rider will likely cease.
A gameplay video of Flying Rider 1.0 can be seen on YouTube.
Update: Flying Rider is now available in the App Store for free. If you like the game, consider donating to the developer of Flying Rider (Paypal button in the upper-right corner.)
Update 2: Flying Rider is no more. Read our post here for more information.
