As we had predicted a few days ago, Atari went after Breakout clones in the App Store to make way for their new game, Super Breakout ($4.99). Those clones are now simply renamed to BlocksClassic ($0.99), Superball 2 ($2.99), and 3-D Vector Ball ($1.99) just to keep Atari’s lawyers off their backs.
Super Breakout includes 2-player support, two gameplay modes (Classic & Super), the ability to upload your high score, upload your own picture for the background, and listen to your own music library while playing.
