Crayon Physics Deluxe in App Store, $4.99

As hinted last week, Hudson has released the iPhone version of Crayon Physics Deluxe ($4.99). Winner of the Grand Prize Award at 2008′s Independent Games Festival, Crayon Physics challenges players to create freehand drawings in order to solve physics-based puzzles. A PC version, previously shown at IGF and other events, will be released at an undetermined date.

As one of the most anticipated iPhone titles to date, Crayon Physics Deluxe faces high expectations and a potentially tough critical reception, both from iPhone users and from fans anticipating the release of the PC version. Here’s hoping that the final product turned out well! A gameplay video can be viewed below.

This game is addicting and will keep you challenged for some time. But the level editor just isn’t working properly. If you try to create your own level all of your work drops off the screen. Hudson needs to fix this soon.

This game has driven me nuts because it claims I can’t draw anymore sometimes. How am I supposed to know when I can and can’t draw? Even on levels where I see it wants me to complete it without drawing, it will SOMETIMES let me draw after level load, and sometimes not! Frustrating and inconsistent.

I am also seeing the Can’t Draw anymore message all the time, when I haven’t drawn anything!

The game is just crap, I get the “Can’t draw anymore” message immediately after starting it. I tried rebooting my iPhone but the problem remains. What the h*** they have not tested it before giving it to the public?

Don’t waste your money for this, it doesn’t work at all.
