Nnooo announces that it has updated its iPhone bubble popping game Pop, adding the ability to play the Detonate and Machine Gun bonus modes at any time, once they have been unlocked through normal gameplay. Version 1.1 of Pop also adds an entirely new bonus round, Defend, which can be unlocked for free play after it’s been played once.
Nnooo has additionally released a new 99 cent version of Pop called Pop Chill. This version features the full game’s Chill mode, a relaxing take on Pop’s gameplay that contains no goals or time limits. It’s an interesting pricing strategy, to be sure. Pop offers a lot of gameplay for $4.99, but the new 99 cent version should be even more appealing for casual users who find the demo version too limited in scope.
