Streaming Colour Announces iPhone Debut Dapple

Owen Goss from Streaming Colour writes in with word that his company’s debut iPhone title Dapple has been announced, and should be released sometime in February.

Dapple challenges players to mix and match colored paint blobs to form new colors. Match four of the same color and they’ll disappear, hopefully setting up some good combo potential. Dapple includes a time limit-less classic mode, a high score tracker, and even a different set of gameplay pieces for players who are color blind, which is awful nice of them.

Check out the official website for more details, or see the video below for lots of paint matching and squishy sounds.

I’m excited to play this one in February!

I love seeing what relatively small developers can put together. Streaming Colour Studios has been really open in their blog about the game’s development. I think that developers that help the community and care about the gamers (color blind mode!) should be rewarded.
