Konami’s iPhone shooter Metal Gear Solid Touch has been updated to version 2.0, adding a significant number of new levels and unlockables. The upgrade is such a major improvement that Konami claims that version 2.0 is the “complete version” of Metal Gear Solid Touch.
Metal Gear Solid Touch 2.0 features eight all-new missions, which App Store reviewers describe as being much more difficult than the previously available levels. One of the new stages features a sniper battle with classic series villain Sniper Wolf, while another pits Metal Gear REX against Metal Gear RAY.
The 2.0 upgrade also adds a selection of new weapons, including the Mantis Doll and the Rail Gun. Additional features include 20 new unlockable wallpapers and language options for French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
