PlayFirst’s hidden object and logic puzzler Dream Chronicles ($4.99) debuted in the App Store over the weekend, and the results appear to be a hit with fans of the original PC version. In Dream Chronicles, players must find hidden jewels and solve puzzles in a surreal fantasy world.
Dream Chronicles includes 32 levels spread across 18 different environments. Reviews liken the experience to Myst in terms of its visuals and gameplay progression — exploration and adventure elements are woven in between the puzzle-solving segments.
PlayFirst notes that the release includes all content from the original Dream Chronicles game. If the iPhone version is a success, future ports of the sequels are likely.
