Every week, FingerGaming rounds up the most popular paid iPhone and iPod Touch applications, as current that day on the iTunes App Store. This week’s top titles are:
- StickWars ($0.99)
- Bloons ($0.99)
- Top Gun ($1.99)
- World Cup Ping Pong ($0.99)
- iFighter ($0.99)
- Flight Control ($0.99)
- Myst ($5.99)
- iHunt 3D ($0.99)
- Bejeweled 2 ($2.99)
- Peggle ($4.99)
Digital Goldfish’s recently updated puzzler Bloons joins the App Store charts for the first time this week, finishing just behind last week’s top seller Stick Wars. Paramount’s iPhone adaptation of Top Gun also ranks high in its first week of release, while Skyworks’ World Cup Ping Pong moves up to take fourth place.
EpicForce’s vertically scrolling shooter iFighter makes its chart debut this week at fifth place, edging out longtime App Store favorite Flight Control. The iPhone port of Myst lands at seventh place, as PopCap finishes out today’s results with Bejeweled 2 and Peggle — the latter of which manages a top-ten finish in its first few hours of release. Given the long-running popularity of Bejeweled 2, Peggle will likely remain a chart fixture for months to come.
