GarageGames has launched Marble Blast Mobile ($9.99), a 3D marble-rolling action title that features networked multiplayer gameplay.
Marble Blast Mobile plays similarly to Sega’s Super Monkey Ball, in that gameplay involves guiding a rolling sphere through a number of challenging 3D environments. Marble Blast Mobile also features a collection aspect and a selection of power-ups, to keep things interesting. The series previously found success on the PC with the release of Marble Blast Gold, which was then ported to Xbox Live Arcade in upgraded form as Marble Blast Ultra.
Unique to the iPhone version of Marble Blast is an all-new multiplayer race mode, which allows up to four players to compete over a network connection in 10 multiplayer-exclusive maps. The game features an additional 20 levels on the single-player side, and includes 16 unlockable marble designs.
The game JUST dropped to $4.99 for a limited time.
