Chillingo has released its twist on the “castle defense” genre — pioneered by XGen Studios’ Defend Your Castle ($0.99) — titled Knights Onrush ($4.99). In the game, players protect their castle from a flood of enemies by flicking them into the air, boiling them, dropping huge boulders on top of them, and more.
Knights Onrush includes 12 castles to defend, 11 enemy types (Wizards, Cataplts, Assassins, and more), defensive structures like a squasher and flamethrower, different landscapes, an endless siege mode, and a madness mode.
