App Store publisher Chillingo has released details and screenshots for two of its upcoming iPhone titles — the boxing simulator Touch KO and the third-person action game Vampire Origins.
The Fight Night-inspired Touch KO is developed by 6ixset Studios, and simulates an up-and-coming boxer’s rise to fame. Touch KO promises to be “the most realistic boxing game on iPhone,” featuring accurate rule-based scoring, a 3D view of the in-ring action, and a character creation mode that allows players to customize their boxer’s appearance with unlockable equipment and tattoos.
Details are scarce on Ice-Hill’s Vampire Origins, but the screenshots released so far show a third-person action game with a distinct Devil May Cry-like flair. The graphics on display are impressively detailed — it should be interesting to see if the title’s gameplay will be as ambitious.
