Groove Media’s sniper sim Marine Sharpshooter enjoys new popularity this week after recently becoming free-to-play, and finishes as today’s top App Store download. An iPhone version of the party game Beer Pong takes second place in today’s results, as last week’s chart champion Cartoon Wars drops to third.
Digital Chocolate’s Halloween-themed Haunted 3D Rollercoaster Rush premieres at fourth place, while the free social game Race or Die replaces Zynga’s Street Racing in the top ten. Uno Free and Papaya Farm each see slight drops this week, as Touch Hockey: FS5 rejoins the chart at ninth place.
(As a side note, Stick Escape Lite has earned some of the most awesomely negative customer reviews I’ve ever seen in the history of the App Store. Some examples: “Whoever created this game should go die in a hole,” “This app should be banned from this universe,” and my favorite, “This game should be thrown in the graveyard.”)
What’s the deal with eliminating the Storm8 games from the top ten list?
Far as I know, the only games of theirs that charted are promotional point bonuses. Do those count?
They are the full games with an additional bonus added, so I believe they count. You wouldn’t leave off a WoW collector’s edition from a top 10 just because it has “promotional bonuses” packed in, would you?
