Namco Networks’ latest App Store release is a vast departure from the retro remakes that comprise the majority of its catalog. Garters & Ghouls ($4.99) is a horror-themed twin-stick shooter that arrives in the App Store just in time for Halloween.
As the “not-too-dead” Marie Dupois, players are tasked with battling an army of undead creatures over the course of 25 levels. Each level includes several monster-generating portals that must be destroyed to proceed.
Garters & Ghouls features a variety of upgradable weapons, downloadable content, and Facebook integration for achievement sharing.
