Former Bullfrog dev and Populous designer Glenn Corpes has put the finishing touches on his high-speed multi-terrain iPhone racer, originally revealed back in May. Ground Effect ($3.99) is now available for purchase from the iTunes App Store.
Ground Effect puts players in the pilot’s seat of a terrain-skimming ekranoplan vehicle. Each of the game’s 14 tracks pits players against seven rival vehicles in a race to cross a series of checkpoints located across land and sea.
Ground Effect features 10 different vehicles to choose from and over 70 square kilometers of racing terrain. A video taken from a recent preview version is below.
