A demo version of Glu’s minigame compilation Family Guy: Uncensored knocks ngmoco’s free online shooter Eliminate Pro out of the top spot in this week’s free app charts. Limbic Software’s tower defense title TowerMadness Zero debuts at third place this week, as Rat on the Run moves up to capture fourth.
A free edition of the artillery defense game Coast Defense takes fifth place in today’s rankings, leading to a sales boost for the paid version. Hangman Classic moves up past Real Racing GTI, while a promotional release for Epic Pet Wars beats out Fling! Free and Papaya Puzzle Bobble.
It’s worth noting that none of Storm8′s popular online multiplayer games appear in this week’s results. In fact, it appears as though all of the company’s free apps have been removed from the App Store, following recent phone number harvesting accusations. While many of Storm8′s paid apps remain available for purchase, it’s unknown whether the company’s free promotional titles will return to the App Store in the future.
