Activision’s recently released Call of Duty: World at War Zombies overtakes PopCap’s Bejeweled 2 in today’s top-grossing app charts. EA’s adaptation of the classic board game Monopoly also sees big first-week sales, and ranks in at third place.
EA captures several additional spots in today’s chart with popular titles like The Sims 3, Tetris, and Scrabble. The publisher’s teenager-targeted adventure game Surviving High School makes its first chart appearance at sixth place this week, as Rock Band drops to tenth place.
Other titles like Asphalt 5, Eliminate Pro, and Doom Classic have fallen out of chart range after strong performances last week. JellyCar 2 hangs on at eighth place in what could be its final chart appearance, while Glu’s World Series of Poker: Hold ‘Em Legend follows close behind at ninth.
