Looks like Ace Combat Xi has some competition. Following up on this week’s release of Driver, the aerial combat title Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X ($6.99) is the latest Ubisoft property to see an iPhone port, thanks to a continuing partnership between Ubi and prolific App Store publisher Gameloft.
H.A.W.X previously saw release across multiple consoles earlier this year. Gameloft brings H.A.W.X to the iPhone with 13 missions, 26 licensed planes, and a customizable control scheme that allows users to choose between the accelerometer or a virtual joystick.
H.A.W.X also boasts a robust multiplayer mode — a crucial feature that Ace Combat lacks. Players may compete in Death Match and Team Death Match modes over a local Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection.
