Indie developer Ethan Nicholas made headlines last year with the release of iShoot, a Scorched Earth-styled artillery sim. The game quickly climbed the App Store sales charts, earning Nicholas more than $800,000 in its first five months of release. Nicholas quit his day job soon after to focus exclusively on iPhone development.
This weekend brought the release of Nicholas’ awaited iShoot follow-up, the 3D hunting sim Kim Rhode’s Outdoor Shooting ($2.99).
Outdoor Shooting allows players to hunt deer, bears, rabbits, and turkeys using a wide variety of weapons in a series of free-roaming environments. Additional weapons and levels can be unlocked by beating challenges and earning achievements.
If you’re not in the mood to track and hunt animals the old-fashioned way, Outdoor Shooting also contains a number of…unconventional hunting challenges. Bears got you down? Take them out with an AK-47 or a minigun. Better yet, bring your rocket launcher to the bonus Killing Fields level — with hundreds of animals roaming around, it’s “the perfect setting for a rocket-powered rampage.” A traditional deer hunting game, this is not.

Its feel good to play the ishoot and iLand3D as far as simulation games are concerned. I used to find more games through this site as the reviews of the games are good. Thanks for sharing. Keep looking more interesting apps.
