Physics Puzzler Tumbledrop Launches in App Store

tumbledrop

Today marks the release of yet another great game from the pool of IGF Mobile entries. Hayden Scott-Baron’s colorful physics puzzler Tumbledrop ($1.99) is now available in the App Store.

In Tumbledrop, players must deconstruct a pile of blocks piece-by-piece in order to guide a star to safety. The puzzles start simple, but later levels feature complex layouts, and removing the wrong block can often send the entire level structure tumbling off the screen.

Tumbledrop caught my attention because of its elegant simplicity — the touch-based controls work very well, and if anything goes wrong, restarting the level is a quick and easy process. Tumbledrop features 60 levels in all, with more to come in future updates.
