Activision’s iPhone version of Guitar Hero leads app sales across all categories in its first week of release, ending Angry Birds’ multi-week reign as the App Store’s highest-grossing title.
Call of Duty: World at War Zombies II takes third place in today’s results, edging out EA’s Tetris and Miniclip’s recently released artillery sim Fragger.
Adult Swim’s Robot Unicorn Attack also makes an impressive debut this week, finishing behind Lima Sky’s Doodle Jump at eighth place. The Sims 3 follows at ninth, as Plants vs. Zombies closes out today’s results at tenth.

EA’s Scrabble, Firemint’s Real Racing HD, and PopCap’s Plants vs. Zombies lead as the iPad’s top-grossing game applications for the second week in a row, while an enhanced iPad version of Backflip Studios’ Paper Toss takes fourth place in its premiere week.
Pinball HD, Angry Birds HD, and Flight Control HD continue to see impressive weekly sales, meanwhile, as 2K’s Civilization Revolution outsells Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior and X-Plane at eighth place.
