Gameloft has added classic card game Uno ($7.99) to the App Store, taking advantage of the platform’s touchscreens and allowing players to drag and drop cards to get rid of their hands as easily as possible.
Uno features:
Action Cards are here: Wil, Reverse, Draw 2, and more
Customize your game with nine different rules including 7-0 and Jump-in
Play online or with your friends through a Wi-Fi connection
Take on increasingly hard challenges in Tournament mode
Freeverse has a new game coming soon, Burning Monkey Casino, based off the Mac game of the same name. While it is a port, Freeverse assured me that there’s been major changes and tweaks to accomodate the new platform on the iPhone and iPod Touch. Burning Monkey Casino comes with 7 games in one:
Slots
Blackjack
Video Poker
Money Wheel
Pachinko
Scratch-N-Win Lotto
3 Card Monty
Taking advantage of the accelerometer and touch screen, games like Money Wheel you’ll be spinning with a swipe of your finger, Pachinko results can be influenced with a well-timed tilt, and Scratch-N-Win has you scratching the ticket to unveil the results (sniffing not required.)
Additionally, there will be 18 varieties of video poker, 9 types of slot machines, and Blackjack comes with 1 to 8 decks. If you need to take a break, visit the game’s lounge act to ogle the pretty waitress and comedy club where the comedians tell groaners. You’ll have to bring your own mojito, though.
